What are the requirements for raw materials for the production of machine-made sand?
1. When building a new sand field, the exploration of mine resources should be done well, and mines with poor quality such as thick covering soil, more mud in the interlayer, low strength of the parent rock, and flaky rocks should be avoided.
2. The parent rock used for processing machine-made sand should not have potential alkali-aggregate reactivity, and the compressive strength should not be lower than 80MPa. Limestone, dolomite, granite, quartzite, diabase and basalt, which are clean, hard, free of soft particles and weathered fossils, should be used to produce artificial sand. Rocks such as mudstone, shale and slate should not be used to produce artificial sand. .
3.After the quarry is determined, the surface covering soil layer or weak weathered layer should be removed manually or mechanically to expose the rock layer. During mining, soil, weathered rock, tree roots, turf and other sundries should be prevented from mixing.
The production of machine-made sand is to crush the block stone several times to make rock particles with a particle size of less than 4.75mm. The primary crushing and medium crushing generally use jaw crushers, impact crushers or cone crushers respectively. Fine crushing sand making machine should choose vertical shaft impact crusher, etc., not simple hammer crusher.
